The first step in our design process
is a review of the customer's application and packaging environment. It is
at this stage that we bring our extensive capabilities and skilled engineers
into direct contact with our customer's engineering team. The process begins with the transmission of our customer's vehicle environment data to the Midwest Rubber Design Center. We may begin with CAD data or create it ourselves from a sketch, a part, or merely a concept. Through the completion of design and the integration of tooling and manufacturing readiness, our cross-functional APQP teams ensure that the product is optimized for customer function, efficiency and cost. Our materials are selected from a broad range of options which include: PVC, silicone; polyurethane; latex, neoprene, and various thermoset rubbers such as EPDM, polychloroprene, and many others. Rigorous Execution... We utilize a wide variety of functionally-linked analytical tools, and a dedicated data network that spans our entire enterprise. We have eliminated any steps which can hinder product communication, ensuring design conformance and rigorous adherence to customer intent at every step of the way.
